Recovering PMG files

New Here ,
May 17, 2022 May 17, 2022

I have some files from 2007 with the PMG extension. Which I believe to be in the "Adobe Photoshop Photomerge Panoramic Composition Format. " But Photoshop CC does not recognize them.

How can I recover these files?

Yes those PMG files were generated by the photomerge interactive dialog that is no longer included with photoshop after cs5. So i don't think photoshop versions after cs5 can load the pmg file, which you can open in any text editor and see the contents, which is just text and no actual image files.

Thanks... I opened the file with a text editor and I can see that there is no longer a need for these files.
