Rectangle Tool issue

Hi guys,

Did I get an unfavorable key combination or has the rectangle tool now been redesigned so that the rectangle can only be drawn centered by default? I am used to draw it from top left to bottom right. Is it changed now by default with a new PS update? This normally only happens when you hold ALT. How to switch it back? Please help

Is there any chance the keyboard may be causing the issue? Do you have a second keyboard you could switch in for testing?
