Do you have the RAW images?

After reconnecting the drive with the RAW files to the computer the problem is solved!? All images are OK now in CameraRaw and Photoshop. I have no idea what was going on?

    Did you open them as Smart Objects yesterday so you can check the ACR settings used then? 

    I suspect the Sharpening settings might be involved. 


    I opened the files, as always, as a copy. I dit some sharpening. (see attached screenshot)
