Removal Tool in Photoshop

It will be nice if there is an "unpaint" button to remove part(s) of the  painted area before commiting to removng the object.

There is the "History Brush"  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/tool-techniques/history-brush-tool.html if I understand correctly what you are looking for. It reverses the paint strokes you made on an object.
