“Remove” gives me a different person

One thing to try is painting with the Remove tool slightly differently. For example, I have read that one reason the Remove tool replaces instead of removes is when the area painted by the Remove tool did not include the subject’s shadow, so the tool thinks something should still cast the shadow. The solution in that case is to make sure to also paint over the shadow so that the Remove tool thinks nothing should be there.
