Remove lens flare spots

Hi. Any guidance for removing the green/yellow lens flare spots on the roof would be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks - that last link is probably best for this image. I've gone through it once and the result is ok but looks odd so i'll keep trying until i've got it

For the roof Frequency Separation might work.

You’re welcome. 

 

You may have to first experiment with the Filter-settings and then with the Blend Mode and Opacity of the Layer. 

And the technique is in this case only useful for the parts where the lense flare has no sharpish details.
