Remove tool = "Required components are being downloaded. Check back later to use the feature once the download is complete".
Imac 24, chip apple m4, macOS sequoia 15.5, ps 26.6.1.
I have read and tried the posts I find on here and none of them work. The 3 dot on creative cloud desktop app does not show the add ons per the instructions I am seeing. Checking back later is not happening and I can't use the remove tool at all. What am I missing?

Hi @JoanneLowery, thanks for reaching out! After answering the above question, let's also try the following:
1. Reinstall Photoshop using the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool to ensure all components are correctly installed.
2. Reset the Creative Cloud Desktop App: Sign out, quit the app, and delete Adobe-related entries in Keychain Access. Then sign back in.
3. Switch Remove Tool mode: In Photoshop Settings > Image Processing, change Remove Tool Processing from “Faster” to “More Stable”.
4. Resetting Photoshop Preferences: Meanwhile, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4jmvs7u. Please back up your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/3YW1WOu
Also, please confirm the license type; some enterprise or team accounts may restrict access to certain features like Add-ons. ^CH
