When I select the remove tool, I get a message saying "Required components are being downloaded. Check back later..." It's been this way for days. I updated graphics driver; no help.

Hey, @camarochas70. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

In the Creative Cloud desktop app, go to the Apps Tab, Photoshop, the three dots menu, Get add-ons, and ensure Remove tool components are installed. You can try reinstalling Photoshop, as Remove Tool components are installed along with Photoshop.

Follow these steps to run Photoshop with administrator privileges:

  • Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 2024
  • Right-click on Photoshop.exe > Run as Administrator.
  • Open a document.
  • Let Photoshop run for a while & then go to the Remove tool.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks!
