Remove tool

The option to increase or decrease the brush in the "remove tool" options bar does not work.

Adobe Photoshop 25.3.1  for macOS Ventura 13.6.3.

Do you mean ctrl-alt-click-dragging or text-entry in the Options Bars or the slider?

In case you meant the »+« in the circle that does not reference the size but adding (and the »-«-icon subtracting) if »Remove after each stroke« is unchecked.
