hi

i tried to remove an object in a photo with the generative tool.

I thought by selecting the object and then fill in nothing in the generate box, it automaticly would remove the object, not replace it with a rando item.

After that I tried to remove it with the remove tool, but I then get a error, tool cannot be used because the destination layer is not supported

I am a bit surprised that Generative fill replaced people with a bison when no text was used in the CTB.

Did you have the layer with the beach scene selected?

Is it a raster layer? i.e. not a Smart Object or Adjustment layer?

I tried with the Remove tool and it worked perfectly first time.

If you have V25.0.0 installed, then you only need to draw an outline around the pixels you want to remove.  This is a very nice, and super useful feature.
