Removu k1 video issues

I have the latest Ps CC running and can't seem to open the .mp4 files from my new Removu k1.

The files are MP4 (H264 AVC).

When I try and open from within Ps, the open dialogue runs and stops at about 80%.

I can open the files in a viewer and in another video editor.

Can anyone throw any light on this strangeness.

It almost sounds like Photoshop doesn't like the way the Removu encodes its MP4s. (I have no problem with my own MP4s in Photoshop but I prefer Premiere for that purpose anyway.) Have you tried to contact the manufacturer of the Removu to see if they can repro?

All I got from them was contact Adobe. I must say it does look like a Ps issue, as the files open in the Win video viewer and my video editor, which is not Adobe.

It's very strange.

If I open in my video editor and save as .mp4, the file opens ok in Ps.
