New Here ,
Aug 27, 2024 Aug 27, 2024

Hi, welcome to the forums. Good question - making seamless patterns in Photoshop is tricky. There are ways to do it using offsets and lots of cloning, plenty of tutorials out there.

But last year I got my hands on Adobe Substance 3D and found the tools inside Substance 3D Sampler were incredibly powerful for making seamless textures. Light years beyond the methods in Photoshop. I urge you to watch this video:

You don't need to learn the complete Substance suite, just following (most of) these steps in Sampler will get you faster and better results. I sat down and got the hang of this in a few hours one afternoon.

Photoshop is great, but adding other tools from the Adobe ecosystem to your workflow will really get you ahead of the competition.

Let us know how it goes!

Have you tried using Firefly proper?

»seamless pattern …« seems to work fine with regard to the seamlesness.
