Renderfilter move Spot or Point

I have a problem with the photoshop renderfilter.

I cannot move the spot or the point within the renderfilter menue over the picture.

I opened the renderfilter, and the spot or the point is in the middle of my picture.

I cannot move it.

Do you have any ideas?

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
