I am currently stuck with rendering a Video from my Photoshop CC Timeline. The Save as Web function leaves with with a .gif that is too fuzzy. When I try to render, my only option is to export still frames into a folder - the Adobe Media Encoder is greyed out. What is the best way to get a usable video from my timeline? Downloading Adobe Media Encoder or accessing the still frames in another program and then rendering?
Thank you!

It sounds like you might have a Frame Animation instead of a Video Animation. In the Timeline panel menu (top right of panel) choose Convert to Video Timeline). Then File > Export > Render Video will let you use the Adobe Media Encoder option.

Save your project as PSD file first. Then open premiere and try to import it there.

I've heard some folks have problems with rendering via AME. Their video turns up in grayscale. Any ideas why?

i had to install trail version of Premiere pro and Media encoder (which i don’t need and without licence).
god know why, but it solved it.
for all the bugs in Adobe suite i have installed 2 PS (19+20), 3 Bridge (2017,2019, 2020) , 1 premier with no licence, 1 media encoder without licence. its a shame but its solved the problems.
if someone knows the development ppl- please Tag them!!
