Reset Layer Style/Blending Options Defaults

While working on project "A" and using the Layer Style/Blending Options dialog box. I wanted to reuse effects on other layers so I clicked the "Make Default" button. Now Im working on project "B" and I would like to reset each of the layer effects to their original/factory setting but when I click "Reset to Default" the effect resets to what I was using on project "A". How do I reset the layer styles to the original settings?

("Reset to default" in the FX dropbox on the bottom left of the dialog box does not do it either)

If resetting photoshop preferences settings doesn't work, please report this bug

I wanted to reuse effects on other layers so I clicked the "Make Default" button.

You could have used »Copy Layer Style«/»Paste Layer Style« or created a Style in the Styles Panel (for example) in order to apply it to other Layers.

If nothing else comes up Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might provide an option:
