Resizing a video layer

Contributor ,

Hi Forum.

I have a sequence of PNG files 350 x 350 pixels exported from a 3D software ( no cropping was available) and I have imported as a video layer,  but when I click on cntrl + T, the boundary of the video file is large, and I only  need whatt's within the green area. Is there a way I can rescale or crop all that excess  pixel space which I dont need.

Thank you.

Why should that even matter? Once you render it again it will be gone, anyway. If you really feel like it, then perhaps running a batch using Image --> Trim might put your mind at ease, but it's really redundant.

The problem is, that when my PNG image gets exported, there's cut out parts of the animation, PS trims all the transprarent pixels, but for some reason also cuts out images as well, they are chopped off. Thats why I wanted to make a border around my image of interest, making sure when it gets exported PS doesnt chop of some of my PNG images.

Simple fix is to add  two 1% opacity  gray pixels top left bottom  right canvas corners eliminate full transparent boarders
