Question

Resizing with Shift should snap to grid

Can't believe it's close to 2024 and this still doesn't exist. It's been reported other times before too.

For some reason, if you resize a layer while holding shift (or basically lock the proportions), the snap to grid gets disabled.

Hi @lucellent I cannot replicate the issue in Photoshop 24.6. First - determine if you have "Use Legacy Transform" active or not under Preferences (Settings)/General.

If you have the setting unchecked - the shift key does snap to grid.

If you have this active - the shift key does the opposite and free transforms ignoring grid.

This is intentional not a bug.

With the setting off -

View menu>Show> Grid

View Menu>Snap To> choose Grid

It snaps to grid while holding shift.
