Returning Edited Image to Capture One from Photoshop

New Here ,
Dec 19, 2019 Dec 19, 2019

Hello folks,

This has been driving me nuts for the last couple of days and so I'm reaching out for some assistance.

I'm guessing this is a result of a recent upgrade to Photoshop as it's now affecting my iMac (still on latest Mojave) and my new 16" Macbook Pro which I'm still setting up (Catalina 15.2).

I edit my photos in Capture One and once basic edits are made I often send the image to Photoshop via the ‘Edit with’ command. Until a couple of days ago, whenever I finished editing in Photoshop, I'd click save and the finished image would return straight into the Capture One catalogue, just below the original file. However when I now click ‘Save’ in Photoshop, I'm faced with a dialogue box asking me where I want to save my file to (Creative Cloud or Hard Drive), and I just can't set the options properly so that it returns to Capture One as it did previously (I never even seen this dialogue box previously in Photoshop).

I'll be very grateful if someone can advise on what I should be setting the options to so that I can save the completed Tiff/JPG straight into Capture One as before.

Thank you in advance.
Best wishes,
David

Just choose hard drive and carry on as you did in the past. The option is giving you the choice to use the new cloud documents format which saves to the cloud, or just save as a PSD/TIFF  the way it was in the past. You can check the tick box not to see that choice again (although there is a button in the Save dialogue now in case you ever change your mind).
