Hi. I have a snapshot of text messages from my phone. The problem is it is white text on black background. I do not want to use up all my black ink printing these out. I need a reverse negative off these.
TIA
Desmond.
Easiest thing to do,
Open the file and
just press Ctrl/Cmd+I
(Menu: Image>Adjustment>Invert)

I also have a B+W problem. I pressed the B/W key in adjustments and now cannot return the image to color. The Black and White choice in Adjustments is greyed out so I cannot invert it. What now?
Thanks, Photodoc16

federico has given the answer.
One thing I'll add. Before inverting the image, you can change it to Grayscale. It may be useful depending on what else is in the screenshot. Changing to grayscale removes any colour information that may be in the image. This is done by
Menu: Image > Mode > Grayscale

Thanks it worked without grey scale. Need to use britness and contrast to bring it up better. Thank you.
