Hi everybody,
About a year and a half ago, my dad purchased a Photoshop cs6 key for me off of Amazon, and I believe that it was a third party seller. I followed the link to install, (which is Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications), entered the key etc and managed to install perfectly well. However, a week or so ago, I had a notification upon opening the program which said that 'your trial has ended' and giving me options to exit or upgrade to full version. I closed the window and thought nothing of it. However, next time I went to close it thinking that it was a mistake, the whole program closed. I reopened it, and a different window came up, saying that I was no longer able to use the program. After I looked through various forums, I came to the conclusion that this may have been due to the fact that I installed Adobe cloud and signed in with the same account that the cs6 key was associated with. Therefore, it detected that the key may have been pirated etc. Today, I have tried to reinstall the program, but when I followed the link and checked my registered products, there was no cs6 key registered. I tried to enter the key on the account but it said that the key was revoked.
I am seeking a solution, as I am very against purchasing another key after I had one in the first place. Thank you for your help

If your CS6 is a legitimate license version and you have your CS 6 serial. Try uninstall all of Adobe products and download and run Adobe Cleaner to clean you system of all traces of Adobe. Then install your Perpetual CS6 stuff with your perpetual cs6 serial. There are different version of Photoshop CS6.
Perpetual Windows CS6 version 13.01.3 current level
Perpetual Mac CS6 version 13.06 current level
Subscription Windows/Mac version CS6 extended version 13.1.2 current level.
Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
When you install CS6 perpetual and activated it your key should have been registered to you Adobe accoumt. Are you sure you used the same used the same user account at Adone.com when you went looking for your CS6 serial there as you used activating CS6 the fitst time.

For advice, Never try to install CC when you are using CS6. The CC is runing and your key is not working anymore to that time, when you delete your CC files from your computer.

My email contains all my permanent serial numbers as well as my Cloud membership, so that's not it.
If you got a message that the key was revoked, you need to read this: Invalid or revoked serial numbers

Unfortunately, if Adobe is flagging your serial key as revoked there is little you can do. A software validation service was introduced last year that checks the legitimacy of the product and, contrary to common belief, is very accurate. If a key is detected from a keygen, volume licence, educational software or crack it gets reported to Adobe and then the activation server rejects the key on subsequent attempts to activate. This is why these fake keys have often worked for years and suddenly then refuse to work.
What you really need is the invoice from you Dad's purchase, so that the third party supplier can be traced to see if they were 'authorised' resellers. Amazon doesn't closely check their third party resellers which makes Amazon a good way of making money from pirated software. If you can find an invoice the price should be a good guide if the product was genuine. If it was new, the standard edition should have been $699 and the extended $999. Adobe doesn't discount so anything less means something is wrong as the reseller is not buying directly from Adobe. If the product is second hand then a formal certificate of transfer of ownership should have been supplied if the previous owner had installed and used the serial.

Additionally Adobe has not marketed CS6 in years. There are many scams on the web.

Yikes! I hate to say it, but I think the serial number was pirated. When you connected to the CC, it allowed the network to detect the serial number. I wish I had better news for you.
