Rock band logo templates?

So I have made a compilation CD for my friend and I thought it would look neat to put her name in place of a famous rock band on their logo, like say the band Boston. Are there templates for that or would you have to make it from scratch?

I would create an original logo for the friend.  It might make it a better gift.

    While you can do this for your friend, hopefully without trouble, if anyone made templates based on copyright rock covers they would have a very expensive letter from a lawyer to deal with. Or worse.

      Oh I know if someone were trying to do this for anything other than a one time thing for a friend , could be an issue.

      I'd suggest not using a copyrighted image.
