Rotate the horizontal image into a vertical one using a Photoshop script. Skip the vertical ones.

Greetings. I'm looking for a way to automatically batch rotate pictures.

The horizontal picture should become vertical by rotating clockwise. And the vertical one the script should skip.

I understand that this is not a complicated script, but unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to create it yet.

I hope for your help 🙏

It's great that you found a solution!

Everything is much simpler and here you can do without a script: just use the conditions in the actions:

@jazz-y  I tried this option, but I got an unexpected option.

If the file is horizontal, that's right, the action expands it vertically.
But if the photo is vertical, then the action mirrors it. Although I don't see it in the action steps themselves.

Can you tell me what the problem is?

1. the original
2. using action
3. Repeated use of action

When I created the condition in the action, I left the "else play action" field blank.

Perhaps you specified some other action there. It is also possible that you have written everything in one action.

If that doesn't help, post a screenshot of your action panel with expanded commands.
