rotate view tool 5˚ angle shortcuts

G’day!

I cannot even find the shortcut for rotating the view of (edited) an image 5˚ clockwise on the list

but apparently it exists, so does anybody have an idea if the shortcut for the corresponding 5˚ counterclockwise-rotation exists?

On Windows pressing R then Enter then 5 does that. Not all three together but in that order.

R then Enter then 0 resets

R then Enter then -5 rotates anticlockwise

Yessir, Enter/Return activates the numerical entry field and then you can specify the degrees of rotation.

If you have an Windows external keyboard, then pressing Alt+Print Screen works as F13

Alt+Scroll Lock is F14

Alt+Pause Break is F15

On the Mac side only the Apple or third party full size keyboards with numeric keypads have the F13 thru F19 keys.

Is there a way to script the Rotation View Tool and then assign a keyboard shortcut the script?

Closest I can get is R key -> Return (to highlight rotation field) -> Shift-up/down arrow (to constrain to 10 degrees of rotation)

My keyboard includes F13 through F19

CP, I followed your link and the only shortcut I could find for Rotate View is "R". Nothing came up for 5°.

Where did you hear that the shortcut exists?

I noticed it when I misclicked some custom shortcut.

I suspected I might have assigned it to some Script and forgotten about it, but it doesn’t turn up in the Keyboard Shortcuts Summary so I concluded it would be a default shortcut.

Try pressing Shift as you rotate. You can also type in a specific amount: Image > Image Amount > Arbitrary.

I apologize, I worded the question incorrectly.

I didn’t mean rotating the actual image but the View, as with the Rotate View Tool.
