Question

Rotating arrows in shapes

I guess there's been an update since I last tried this.  I draw an arrow using the custom shapes tool.  Now I want to rotate it.  I can't find any way to rotate (or resize, for that matter) once I've drawn it.  Spent 30 minutes searching articles and everything else and just can't find suitable help!

Hi

Have you tried hitting ctrl/cmd + T to enter free transform

Thanks, I didn't know about "transform".  But having done that, I can't get out of it!  Any suggestions?  Maybe there's another way to find "transform" than keystrokes?

Also, it still doesn't offer all the options that Photoshop used to offer, like filling with a different colour, etc.  Are there any options for those

Either hit the enter key to accept the transform or esc to cancel the transform.

or use the buttons in the options bars

Check the options bar, you can change the fill color and stroke from there, you either need to have the shape tool or the path selection tool selected
