Rule of Thirds Photoshop Grid

I want to create a grid dissecting the canvas 3 times horizontally and 3 times vertically. See attached test-2.jpg

I set Gridline every 100 percent and Subdivisions 3.This used to work. But now it does not give me 3 subdivisions vertically. (see attached test-1.jpg)

Would appreciate any help.

Try enabling this option in preferences and restarting Photoshop to see if it helps

As I understand it, this is an acknowledged bug and a fix is coming. If you have version 22 still installed, it works as it should there.

It is indeed a bug and enabling deactivate native canvas is a temp fix.

I'm running on ImacM1...deactivate native canvas really slows down my screen redraw...I ended up making a vector path of a rectangle divided into thirds....I just drag from document to document and size up or down. Works until they fix the bug.
