Rumor about how to identify a picture being edited by Photoshop

There is a rumour saying if you open a picture with a notebook and see something like "Photoshop 3.0" or other words related to Photoshop it will prove that the picture has been edited by photoshop

I tried to make a screenshot of my phone and uploaded it to my PC and opened it with a notebook(text) it shows Photoshop. But It has not been opened or edited by Photoshop.

Could you please confirm this issue?
