Question

Save As offers only three options in 22.4.1

Im having the same issue after an update -I guess- cause it started to happen suddenly.
Save as offers me only three export options: PSD, PBS and TIFF.

I can export in any format from the save as copy menu.

Any clues?

To explain why you have seen a change. Since v 22.4, if your file contains items that are not supported in your required format (e.g. layers or 16 bits/channel) then the file format is moved to the Save a Copy menu. This was driven by changes in the Mac Operating System, although the changes are applied to both Mac and Windows versions to keep them aligned.

Yes - the change was by design. 🙂

What is size of your file?

There are limitations with formats in either pixel size or by the size of the file on the hard drive.

Thanks you both, Derek and Creamer for your fast replies.
I have no trouble exporting in any format from the "save as copy" menu. It works totally fine.

In response to your question, Creamer, the original its a 1200x1200 px PSD (192 MB) with a resolution of 72 dpi.
I've exported files in PNG and JPGE from a 2gb PBS file. This is my first time with this specific issue.

Thanks again!
