Save as problem will not let me select where it is to go.

When I go to Save As for a file it will not let me select more than just the drive. Example I want to save as a file to a sub directory on an external drive. When I select the external drive it will not show the sub directories on the left hand side so that I can select exactly where I want it to go.

I am using a Macbook Pro running macOS Big Sur 11.1 on Photoshop 2021 and it is up-to-date.

Does your Save As dialog looks like this on your macOS?

If so, click the disclosure button (in red above) to expand the dialog and reveal your sidebar on the left hand side.

If not, please show a screen shot of what you are seeing.
