Hi,
Is there a Photoshop CS4 extension that saves the graphic file in WebP format?
Can I automate the process of saving a photo in this format?
Regards,

An alternative if the other version mentioned does not work with CS4:

This WebP plugin works quite well for me in Creative Cloud Photoshop.  I've never tried it in legacy versions, however.

Download it, unpack it and move it to your plugins folder.  It invokes the WebP option from File > SaveAs.

As an Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium user, can I purchase the current version of Adobe on sale?

No. There are no discounts for prior versions, let alone one that is about 13 years old.

Hi @Maciej22416233bnmb

Photoshop CS4 was released two years before the WebP format was announced:

  • CS4 and CS4 Extended were released on October 15, 2008.
  • Google announced the WebP format in September 2010.

I have not heard of any extensions for CS4 that offer WebP support.
