Save for Web Error

I don't see any reason why you should be getting that error. Are you certain you have completely disabled the Dropbox backup?

1. Click the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.
2. Click your profile picture or initials.
3. Click Preferences.
4. Click the Backups tab.
5. Click Manage backup.
6. Toggle all filesand folders to Off.
7. Click Save.

1- Curious. When and where would I hold the Option Key to reset the Save for Web Legacy?
2- File name is "Test Copy" which is saved to desktop. The error appears after selecting the desktop and pressing Save. 

A few other ideas - one: hold the Opt key to reset the Save for Web (Legacy) dialog box.

2: when you click save - what is your file name in the save as dialog box or does it error out before then? Wondering if there are special characters, etc. causing an issue.

If that doesn't work - send a screenshot of the window with all the details shown and one of the actual save dialog box with the desktop chosen as the target location.

Same error if you go to your desktop?

Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

Hi, @Kevin Stohlmeyer I just checked my Apple System Preferences, and everything seems to be checked.

I then tried to save for web in multiple places where Dropbox isn't connected to and it did not work.

Any other suggestions? Your help is appreciated.

Hi @Pheobles where are you attempting to save to?

First go to Apple System Preferences/Security and Privacy/Full Disk Access and making sure PS is listed and active.

Next, try saving to your local HD not directly to Dropbox. Working directly out of Dropbox is not supported for Adobe products.
