I cam currently using verion 25.1.  In prior versions when I used "save" to save an image, the file would be in it's orginal folder.  Now when I save an image I have to choose the folder which creates extra steps.  Is there a way to go back to the method of saving that saves steps?

There is a preference to "save as to original folder". A Save will always go directly back.

Are you using Save or Save As? Save should save your current file. Save As should allow you to save a file in a different location.

If you're using Save As, then you can change the location of the default Save As.

Here's more information about saving files:

Thank you.  I did use Save as I have in the past.   It is working now.
