Recurring problem where it is not possible to save psd files. It's stuck at saving 0%. This is very annoying because everytime I lose part of work in progress.

Photoshop 24.0.0 and previous versions on M1 Ultra

Do you use any type of synchronization software on this computer? (Dropbox, OneDrive, etc)

The two troubleshooting steps I would try to give us more info would be:

1. Restore restore your preferences using this manual method:  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

2. Try creating a new Admin user account and run Photoshop from the new user account to see if the problem goes away: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/basic-troubleshooting.html#permissions

Thanks for your quick respons.
I don't use any type of synchronization software.
I'll try your first solution and see if the problem goes away before I try the second one.

Are you saving to a local drive (e.g. the desktop)? An external harddive? A network drive or a server? or are you trying to save a Cloud Doc?
