Saving to Hidden directory

My iMacs running Photoshop CC 2015 are saving to a hidden directory by default. It seems to be a folder named "T" nested in a hidden directory. If the user does not specify a directory path for the save the files is buried there. Sometimes it can be retrieved by using the "open recent files" option, sometimes it simply cannot find the recent file.
