Scaling a repeating pattern

In Photoshop I created a seamless pattern, then put it in my Photoshop pattern library.  If I scale down my seamless pattern will it stay seamless?  Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes, the relatively »weak« resampling method may introduce noticable artefacts, though.
