Scratch Drive storage help

New Here ,
May 17, 2020 May 17, 2020

Hello All,

So I load up Photoshop and click the scratch drive spot I want to use, the app then doesn't load. I then go through an endless cycle of trying to load but cant because I only have like 5gb on that drive. What do I do in this situation, I'm not the most avid user of picture editing software so I have no clue what to do. Thanks.

You should select a Scratch Disk with more free space and, if necessary, also set a second, third, … Scratch Disk.

The picture below is what comes up when I start the programme, How do I set new scratch disks or free up space on this current disk. I apologise if these questions and problems make you all facepalm and think I am a simpleton. Thanks.

As it says, both disks are full. You can't fix this by changing preferences...

To free up space you need to look at what's on the disk. It's your disk, you have to take charge of it... you may need to buy a bigger one if you can't bring yourself to delete loads.

As Test_Screen_Name indicated you need to make room.

If those are the only two available disks then on those two themselves.
