Scripting Listener not working in Photoshop 2023 (24.6.0) on MacBook Pro M2 (Apple Silicon)

Has anybody been able to get the Scripting Listener to work on an M2 Mac with Photoshop 2023 (24.6.0)? I tried the below fix with no success. It may work with PS 2022, but not PS 2023. My Intel Mac is also running Photoshop 2023 (24.6.0) and the Scripting Listener works fine there. Any help would be most appreciated.

For the ScriptingListener.plugin on Apple Silicon Macs the solution is a two step process:

1. notarize the ScriptingListener.plugin

   Use Terminal and copy/paste this:
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine
Be sure to add a space after the e of ‘quarantine’
Then drag & drop the plug-in onto Terminal…then enter your password

2. run photoshop 2023 with Open using Rosetta

     Run photoshop under Rosetta

by going to

Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2023

right clicking on the

Adobe Photoshop 2023.app

then Get Info, check Open using Rosetta
