Searching for shared files

I use the same version of PS at home on my laptop and at work on my desktop, but at home when I go to open a file from my Shared With You folder I have a search option (magnifying glass icon) and at work I do not. At work the only controls I am offered when looking in my Shared With You files are to organize by date or name.  And no, I'm not looking for the magnifying glass on the upper right, next to the cloud icon, it's different. 

Does anyone know how to regain the ability to search by name on this device? Does anyone know why the options are different on my 2 devices?
