Photoshop v24.4.1, windows 10

'mask and select' giving different selection output when recorded in action than what I really recorded in that action.
All my workflow and the bug is explained in the attached video.
I also attached the file causing an issue. The same problem happened in the previous version of photoshop, never occured in much older versions but I'm not sure when exeactly it started as this problem occurs mostly on low contrast selections.

OK, problem is solved.
As I just tested the new BETA version with completely fresh settings I found out that BETA don't have that issue. Then I copied all my setting files from my appdata folder and ... all of the sudden I got  it again. Poblem was reappiring when I copied 'Actions Palette.psp' into BETA settings. However for the old 24.4.1 version removing that file wasn't sorting it out.  It went back to normal when I removed 'Adobe Photoshop 2023 Prefs.psp' file and then I set up all my 'preferences' manually to what it was before.

As I haven't changed any of the preferences in the meantime, so it is close to impossible that it was just simple settings issue, I assume that the problem appeared after one of the updates.
