Question

Select and Mask preview não funciona 24.6.0 MacBook Pro

Obrigado.

Hi, Ranjisha.

I've noticed this issue a few days ago, I'm working on a project that I
have to remove the background from pictures (.jpg and .png) and then refine
the edges, and since that day, I'm doing it blinded, without the selections
preview on this screen. =(
I've done more than 500 imagens so far.
It doesn't give me any preview of any kind of selection I try to do on
"Select and Mask" screen. If I select something outside this screen it will
be selected in "Select and Mask" screen, but when I try to add more
selections it doesn't work.

I've tried to turn off the Graphic Processor option and it did not work.
This is the amount of memory I'm using for Photoshop and my computer
specifics (attached).

Hope you can help me. Many thanks.

Hi @manuhsu

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with the software. Let's work together to find a solution.

Does this happen with all the images or specific file formats? Since when are you noticing this? Did this start happening after any update?

Go to Photoshop's Preferences by clicking on Photoshop in the menu bar and selecting "Preferences" > "Performance." Under the "Graphics Processor Settings," try toggling the "Use Graphics Processor" option off. Restart the app.

If the issue persists with a specific image or selection, test the "Select and Mask" feature with different images or selections. This can help determine if the problem is related to the specific content you're working with.

We're here to help, just need some info.

Best,

Ranjisha
