Select and Mask won't Output to Selection

Anyone found a fix for this?

    Hello Akash,

    I performed a factory reset when starting up Photoshop, which has fixed it. Annoying though as I've obviously lost a lot of settings.

    I was using the Select and Mask function to cut out objects for product photography. I'd take the selection into the Select and Mask pane but when I applied the various refinements and selected 'Output To: Selection' then hit 'OK' it didn't work. The screen just displayed the same as when I was viewing in the Refine and Mask pane. No selection marching ants.

    Does that make sense?

    Which version of Photoshop are you using? May I know what is the exact error message? Post screenshots of the issue along with your system info so that we can help better.
