Select subject is not working in Photoshop

I am trying to select the subject, however Photoshop is not able to select the subject. It is a person stood in front of a plain white wall, so it should not be hard to find the subject. I have tried select subject in other photos, and it is not able to select the subject in other photos either. 

I am using Photoshop 2023 24.6.0.I am using Windows 10.

Can you post some screenshot or short video with Layers panel expanded and visible to illustrate the issue?
