When I select the option select and mask and enter the new window in that I can't see select subject command above

I was here a few minutes ago, complainging about the AI feature not working. I tgried a bunch of stuff and noting. Well, I was loading the application via Bridge before and AI worked just fine (sort of) and then it didn't even load. Okay, the short story is the new Beta version was not loading, the bar was there but not working. That is still 'wrong'. However when I loaded the Beta version directly and poof, the feature was back. . . . As far as I am concerned I'mn still going to follow up, it is broken. . .

I see that I am responding to you a long time after your post and the responses below. I have using the AI feature for a while now and 'poof' it is gone. What is going on here? The feature shows up on a 'blank page' but not on previous JPGs when the feature was used on JPGs where it hasn't. I have even check out what advice has been posted, but I just dig myself into a hole. . . . . . . I'll figure it out and will continue exploring.

Hi

There is no problem with using quick select and select subject within Select and Mask.

However In the Select and Mask workspace , "Select Subject" will only show in the options bar if you have the Quick Selection tool selected in the toolbar

Hi Praveen,

Please read Dave’s instructions carefully. Note that he says:

”inside the select and mask workspace”
select the Quick Selection tool (note in his screen shot there are only six tools)

Which version of Photoshop do you have? If you have a version that came out before “Select Subject” then it won’t work for you.

If it still doesn’t work and you are following these instructions, then please post a screen shot.

Why do you want to use Select Subject inside Select and Mask?

You should be using Select Subject first and then use Select and Mask to refine your selection.

Could you please post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels and dialogs visible?

Which exact version of Photoshop are you using? (And please refrain from statements like »the latest version«.)

Hi Praveen

Try resetting the Select and Mask workspace.
With select and mask open go to the top right of the options bar and click on the down arrow. Choose Reset Select and Mask

If that does not work please go to Help >System Info press Copy and paste the info here
