I have an action that's creating and naming over 18,000 files. Has anyone ever seen a script or plugin that could be scripted to send notification/confirmation by E-mail when an action has compled running? Russel Brown had an E-Mail extension that allowed E-mailing images by sending thenfilesnfrom Photoshop into an E-mail program. I was hoping to find a script that could be called from the end of the action when everything was completed.  Content of E-mail could be as simple as, "Your action has finished" or " Your action finished at " + time/date. Subject could be "Notification: Action status update". We use Outlook on a MAC at work. Im using Photoshop CC 2014.

Just something I was putting on my wish list for Santa this year. Hope Santa is checking Adobe Forums!

As an alternative solution, the operating system could monitor a watched folder and send an email when a specific trigger is tripped, such as the existence of a file named “filename_18000.jpg” etc.

You can probably find a free service that allows you send mail to preconfigured list when opening a link. Likely to be more reliable/reusable.
