Hi All

I have CS6 on my 4yo Mac which had a video card failure.  I had an image of that machine put onto my new machine but after starting up CS6 it is looking for a serial number.

I purchased it some 5 or more years ago and no longer have the serial number.

Any idea's who I can contact?

Regards

Tony

In that case contact Customer Care. We can't do anything as far as serial numbers and activation goes.

Hi

No but will do.
I have no records of my original purchase, I am assuming Adobe will.

Thanks for replying 🙂

If you bought a downloadable copy from Adobe then go to your account and then plans and then order history. By clicking on your order then you should get a link to your download and serial number.

If you purchased disks , or purchased elsewhere, then Adobe no longer give support for CS6 and are unlikely to provide numbers.

It seems Adobe no longer provides CS installers, registered or not.

Hi

I dont need the installer, just the serial number.
I still have the original installed version on my hard drive but because
that has been added to a new mac via an image of my old hard drive, Adobe
thinks its a new install and is asking for a serial number.

Cheers for replying 🙂

Adobe advised us just before Christmas that Customer care will no longer support CS applications with the single exception of resetting activations if the limit has been reached.

Your information is precise and concise JJ, but he would have to have had to have purchased CS6 direct from Adobe or registered it under an opened Adobe account over five years ago.

There are many reasons people prefer not to register, after all they have the the box, discs and serial number until...they don't.
