set align text default LTR

I face a problem that annoys me. the default align text is right to left but I need to change the default, left to right. i appreciate your help

Hi @Armanopia, are you still having trouble setting the paragraph alignment? For me, the alignment will remain on left or right align if I set it there for every new text box. I'm using Windows 10, Photoshop 24.1.1 Release. The alignment setting “sticks” when adding multiple text boxes on the same image, or when adding text on a different image, until I set it back to either right or left. How are your settings configured here? Try clicking “Reset Paragraph” to start over. Let us know how it's going!

Hi @J E L . yes I still have a problem. maybe considering I bought the license from the middle east.

also it could be cause of the country that is in Arabic language.  and my license related to it. 

in fact, i use mac os . I am searching for create default style in setting or in preference to change default .

Thank you for that info. This may have to do with your UI Language, so not something particular to Photoshop settings or preferences, but to your operating system. Maybe others will have more information for Arabic language settings.

Hi @Armanopia 

Open the Paragraph panel from the Window menu. The MENA versions have controls to switch to left to right or right to left.

Aah I wish I can do that.

Since the introduction of the Unified Text Engine, we've been having this issue. I'm afraid that I don't have a solution.

I tried many things before to set the defaults to LTR but failed, perhaps someone else can. Here in this "Language Options" under the Type menu is where all the settings are now…

It could be a bug, however, I frankly didn't spend much time exploring this issue and finding a way around it since I don't type much text in Photoshop, I leave the task to InDesign or Illustrator.
