Shake reduction Very Slow

The shake reduction facility on Photoshop CC is running slowly...approximately 12 minutes  to process a full sized image from a Nikon D500 (RAW converted to jpeg from Camera Raw). I am running an Intel I5 machine with a 4gb graphics card and 32 gb of ram. 21533 of the available 29334mb of ram has been appointed to Photoshop in Preferences. Increasing the ram on the pc from 8gb to 16 gb and , now, 32gb has made no difference to how slowly shake reduction works. Can anyone please help?

I'm running Win 10 1903 with latest Photoshop.  As soon as I click the shake reduction menu item, the system goes to 100% CPU on photoshop.exe.

What's up with this?

Attempting to figure this out, I turned off 30 bit option in performance, now it crashed upon invoking shake reduction, irritating - need a response from Adobe
