Are there short cuts for these 2 functions besides going into the Edit menu & making a selection?

Command + Z for Mac

Ctrl + Z for Windows

And if you want to move back multiple steps, just hold Options key on Mac, or alt for Windows.

I have recently purchased a Logitech G13 and started playing with it. Notice I have sets its joystick left and right functions to step back and forward through History and its up and down functions to select up and down in the layers stack
