Show Only Active Layers Photoshop

Hi,

I have search adobe forums/google/random other sources but cannot seem to find an answer for this.

Essentially, I was wondering if there is a way to toggle only showing active, e.g layers with the eye icon illuminated, layers in a project.

For example, I have several projects that inlcude 50+ layers but only need 20-30 layers working/visible at one time.

I know I can manually select and de-select layers to be  visible. However, because I need to toggle layers on or off, I cannot delete the inactive layers.

In excel you can filter the sheet to only show columns with specific information, meaning a list of 400 columns can reduce to 10 or 20 columns at the click of a button. It can then be expanded back to show all coliumns instantly when required.

It does seem like a basic function, so I would be surprised if it is not a standard function. Apologies if this is a quesiton that has been asked and answered many times previously, however I cannot seem to find the answer/question here.

Appreciate any help in advance.

Thanks

Are you asking to hide layers in the Layers panel? If so, this is already implemented.

Change the search popup to Attribute and then select Visible (or another choice as desired.)

Thanks so much, that really helps. Exactly what I was looking for. I felt like it was too obvious of a feature to be missing.
