Question

Showing maximum and minimum brush size with cursor

I saw an online demo, discussing size jitter. When the artist applied his pen to his Wacom tablet, there was a smaller circle inside the bigger brush circle, which showed his minimum brush size and maximum brush size when using pen pressure to control size jitter. Does someone know how this is possible and what setting are required to obtain this helpful information?

You have a choice of Painting cursor

The Normal Brush Tip is the  one  I use.  When the tip hardness is 100% hard, paint opacity is 100%,  blending is normal the tip shape is normal round.  If you click the mouse button  to lay down paint.    The paint will be laid down and fill the circle cursor exactly with the paint color at 100%  opacity.  If you use a pen and size dynamics is set to pen pressure at Full High pressure you will see the cursor circle filled.  Low pressure less then fulled.

If the hardness is not 100%  the Paint laid down edge areas will have paint that has less than 100% opacity. At  full pressure the paint will bleed and exceed the circled area an color opacity will build up if you keep the pen pressed at high pressure.

The Full Size brush tip the Circle will be the Max Area where paint may be laid down. It the hardness is 100% hard the cursor circle will be fine and sharp. It the tip is soft the circle will be dithered look like s it be stroked with a speckled paint stroke.

Changing Brush  Shape Dynamics minimum size from its default 0% to a higher values does not add a second circle to the cursor for minimum size.
