Simple line question

hi i wanna draw lines then move them on the page but line is disapeearing when i select move tool to select and move a line i just draw and re-appear when i select line tool. i dont understand how am i supposed to move this line to somewhere on a page? also when i select move tool it shows a blue rectangle shape around my line. i dont want to see it.

You have a black stroke on your line that is 200px that is wiping out the white fill that you have, so when you view you black line on the black background, all you see is black. Change the bg color or reduce the stroke size, or change it to another color.
